Confronting Cancer: How to Care for Today and Tomorrow, by Michael M. Sherry, M.D.
Published in 1994, paperback or hardback, 375
pages.
This book is a fantastic resource. Although
it does have information on the types of cancer and their symptoms,
I believe that other books handle that area better. This book
excells in the way it explains the tyoes of therapy, such as radiation
and BMTs, its discussion of no therapy (both the pros and the
cons) and a wonderful section on Quacks. It also has a strong
section on cancer and the elderly.
